Chat Rooms

How do I create a chat room?

Click "Create New Chat" on the homepage, set your preferences (title, expiration time, participant limit), and you'll receive unique links to share.

How long do chat rooms last?

Chat rooms expire after a set time chosen by the creator (from a few minutes to several days). Once expired, all messages are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

What is the maximum message limit?

When creating a chat room, you can set a maximum number of messages. Once this limit is reached, the chat room will be closed.

Can I set a participant limit?

Yes. You can limit the number of people who can join your chat room. This is useful for private one-on-one conversations or small group discussions.

How do I share a chat room?

After creating a chat, you'll receive a unique link. Share this link with anyone you want to invite. They can join instantly without registration.

What is the difference between the Owner link and Participant links?

The Owner link gives you full control over the chat room (including the ability to delete it). Participant links are for people you invite to join the conversation.

Can I delete a chat room before it expires?

Yes. If you have the Owner link, you can delete the chat room at any time. All messages will be permanently removed.

Privacy & Security

Is my data secure?

Yes. All messages are encrypted during transmission and storage. We use industry-standard security protocols to protect your communications.

Can anyone read my messages?

Only people with the chat room link can access messages. We do not read, monitor, or analyze your conversations.

What happens when a chat room expires?

When a chat room expires, all messages and associated data are permanently deleted from our servers. We do not keep backups. The data cannot be recovered.

Do you store my IP address?

We temporarily log IP addresses for security and abuse prevention purposes only. This data is not linked to your messages and is automatically purged.

Are messages end-to-end encrypted?

Messages are encrypted in transit and at rest on our servers. For maximum security, avoid sharing highly sensitive information through any online platform.

What is Private Mode?

Troubleshooting

I lost my chat link. Can I recover it?

Unfortunately, no. If you lose your chat link, there is no way to recover it. We recommend bookmarking or saving important chat links.

Why can't I join a chat room?

This could happen if: the chat room has expired, the participant limit has been reached, or the link is incorrect. Contact the chat creator for a new link.

Messages are not loading. What should I do?

Try refreshing the page, checking your internet connection, or clearing your browser cache. If the problem persists, the chat room may have expired.
